This page explains how to delete your Crescion account, delete data Crescion obtained from connected platforms (Meta / Facebook / Instagram / Threads, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others), and revoke Crescion's access from those platforms.
1. What You Can Delete
When you sign up for Crescion and connect social or advertising accounts, we store:
- Your Crescion account record (email, name, tenant metadata)
- OAuth access tokens that let Crescion post on your behalf and read engagement metrics
- Content you created inside Crescion (posts, campaigns, generated videos, uploaded assets)
- Engagement metrics we pulled from Meta / other platforms for your own pages and ad accounts
- Billing records where applicable
You can request deletion of any or all of the above at any time.
2. How to Request Deletion (Fastest Path)
The fastest way is through the app itself:
- Sign in at crescion.ai/login
- Go to Account → Settings → Delete Account
- Confirm. Your account, all stored tokens, and all content generated inside Crescion are removed.
Deletion is processed immediately. Some derived records (aggregate analytics, financial records we are legally required to retain) may persist in accordance with Section 6 below.
3. How to Request Deletion by Email
If you cannot access your account (lost password, account locked, etc.), email us:
Email: support@crescion.ai
Subject: Data Deletion Request
Include: the email address associated with your Crescion account, and (if applicable) the Meta / Facebook / Instagram / Threads account you had connected.
We will confirm the request within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, as required under GDPR Article 17 and CCPA Section 1798.105.
4. How to Revoke Crescion's Access From Meta (Facebook / Instagram / Threads)
You can revoke Crescion's access from the Meta side at any time, independent of account deletion:
- Go to facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools
- Locate Crescion in the list of connected business integrations
- Click Remove
Once removed, Crescion's OAuth tokens for your accounts are revoked by Meta and can no longer be used to post, read insights, or manage ads. Crescion's record of your tokens becomes invalid immediately. To also delete your Crescion account, follow Section 2 or Section 3.
5. How to Revoke Access From Other Platforms
Each platform maintains its own settings page for revoking third-party access:
- Instagram (personal): instagram.com/accounts/manage_access
- Threads: managed via your Instagram connected apps (same link as above)
- Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions
- TikTok: Settings → Apps and websites
- LinkedIn: Settings & Privacy → Data Privacy → Permitted services
- Stripe / billing: contact support@crescion.ai
6. What We May Retain
After account deletion, we may retain a limited set of records where legally required:
- Financial records: invoices, tax records, and payment data are retained for 7 years per IRS and state requirements.
- Security logs: authentication and abuse-investigation logs are retained for up to 90 days, after which they are anonymized.
- Aggregate analytics: anonymized, non-identifying usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.
None of the retained data can be re-linked to you after deletion.
7. Timing
- In-app deletion (Section 2): immediate.
- Email request (Section 3): confirmed within 2 business days, completed within 30 days.
- Platform revocation (Sections 4–5): immediate on the platform side.
